House Wren destroys neighbor’s nest

The House Wren is a known house wrecker. It’s just part of his strategy for success, I guess. Not only, “Don’t get along with your neighbors,” but “wipe them off the face of the map.”

Eastern Towhees made a nest in an evergreen in our backyard. Unfortunately, the House Wrens are also looking to establish a nest nearby.

Here’s the formula:

House Wren + Eastern Towhee nest = Eastern Towhee nest failure
