Every house should have one

They’re feisty alright. Last year, a House Wren moved into our backyard and ruled it. He destroyed the titmouse eggs in the bluebird box and tore up the nest. He chased away other potential nesters, too. He’s smaller than a Carolina Wren but packs more punch, in my opinion. Weighing no more than a couple of quarters, this firebrand makes his presence known wherever he goes. And he goes lots of places. For a small bird, it has quite a large range, breeding from Canada to the tip of South America. Behold the bird:
